OPPO is a subsidiary of BBK and the company launched in 2001. The company has Blu-ray Disc players, headphones, and headphone amplifiers that come under the OPPO digital division. The original company name is Guangdong Oppo Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd. The founder is Tony Chen. It's a consumer electronics type company. Dongguan, Guangdong, China is the headquarter. OPPO is doing business globally. Their brand name OPPO was registered in 2001. The company officially launched in 2004. After that, the company expanded to 40 countries. OPPO Digital, similarly named OPPO, is an independent company that designed and markets audio and video equipment.
OPPO makes a record that the company become the biggest smartphone manufacturer in China and sold their smartphone in retail for more than 200000. In 2019 OPPO ranked the world's 5th market share company globally and the biggest smartphone brand in China.

2010 - South Korean boy band 2 PM prepared a song known as Follow Your Soul in a promotional deal with Oppo for launching its brand in Thailand
2015 - Sponsor of Spanish Football Club FC Barcelona
2016 - Philippine Basketball Association tied up with OPPO as its official smartphone partner. Sponsorship to one of Vietnam's top-rated reality shows, The Face Vietnam
2017 - Oppo won the bid to sponsor the India national cricket team, which allows their logo to be used on the team's kits from 2017 to 2019.
2019 - Oppo became a sponsoring partner of the French Open tennis tournament held in Roland-Garros, Paris. They also became a sponsoring partner of Wimbledon for 5 years as the first official smartphone partner.
2019 World Championship, Oppo is the exclusive global smartphone partner for League of Legends esports through 2024. Oppo will have year-round activations centered around the sport’s three annual global tournaments: the Mid-Season Invitational, the All-Star Event, and the World Championship.
