Apple yesterday launched a major update to the Windows version of iCloud, bringing the software version number to 13. This update adds support for Apple ProRes video and Apple ProRAW photos, and files in these formats can now be accessed from a Windows PC via iCloud.
All participants of iCloud Drive sharing files or folders can now also add or delete people, and Apple has also introduced support for using the iCloud Passwords application to generate strong passwords.
Apple launched a new iCloud Keychain password manager application as early as August, allowing Windows users to access their iCloud Keychain passwords to achieve cross-device functions, and Windows users can access iOS devices and Mac with the same password generation technology as Safari.
According to Apple's updated support files, the 13th version of iCloud for Windows also resolves multiple security vulnerabilities, and users can download them from the Microsoft Store.
