Apple’s official website was suspended in Turkey

With the accelerated depreciation of the Turkish currency, Apple previously stopped selling online products in the country. According to macReports, Turkey’s Apple Store also shut out customers, and employees told customers that once the Turkish economy stabilizes, normal sales will resume.

Some other Turkish sources said that the Apple Store has been selling products, and the shutdown was only because the store’s available inventory was insufficient. This supply chain situation has been going on for some time and has often led to Apple Store restrictions on sales.

The picture shared by mac reports shows customers waiting outside two Apple Stores in Istanbul, Turkey. Customers with service appointments are allowed to enter, while customers who wish to purchase products are turned away.

Due to the historical economic collapse that caused the Turkish lira to fall by 15%, Apple stopped selling its products in Turkey yesterday.
