Astronauts grow peppers for the first time on the ISS

Astronauts from the International Space Station (ISS) began experimenting with pepper cultivation for the first time.

"The Plant Habitat-04 experiment started today! We are growing bell peppers in space for the first time, a challenge due to long germination and growth cycles. But a great source of vitamin C and flavor!" Wrote astronaut Megan McArthur on his Twitter account.

Expedition 65, made up of Russian cosmonauts Oleg Novitski and Piotr Dubrov, American astronauts Mark Vande Hei, Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur, Japanese Akihiko Hoshide and French Thomas Pesquet are currently working on the orbital platform.
