Audi Launches 2024 A5 and S5 in China with New Features and Pricing

The 2024 Audi A5 and S5 have been officially launched in China. The mid-size coupes feature a dynamic and stylish appearance, as well as strong power. For the 2024 model year, Audi has made a series of improvements to the A5 and S5 while keeping the original prices unchanged.

The 2024 Audi A5 entry-level Sportback 40 TFSI quattro adds dual USB charging ports in the rear, remote engine start, front-row mobile phone wireless charging and mobile app remote control, and more. The second-lowest-spec Sportback 40 TFSI quattro luxury and dynamic model adds a black appearance package. The top-spec Sportback 45 TFSI quattro sports model adds front LED welcome lights. The guide price of the 2024 Audi A5 starts at 379,800 yuan.


The 2024 Audi S5 is available in three versions: Sportback 3.0T, Coupe 3.0T, and Cabriolet 3.0T. These three versions have canceled the Tianyun Gray body color, and added configurations such as rear USB charging ports, engine remote start, active lane keeping, and new-style rims. The optional dynamic steering system has been canceled. In addition, the Sportback and Coupe versions also receive a black appearance package. The guide price of the 2024 Audi S5 starts at 631,800 yuan.



Powertrain Remains Unchanged


There are no changes to the power of the 2024 Audi A5 and S5. The 2024 Audi A5 is equipped with two 2.0T turbocharged engines with different adjustments. The 40 TFSI has a maximum power of 150 kW and a peak torque of 320 N·m. The 45 TFSI has a maximum power of 195 kW and a peak torque of 370 Nm. Both engines are mated to a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox, with front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive options.


The 2024 Audi S5 is equipped with a 3.0T V6 turbocharged engine with a maximum power of 260 kilowatts and a peak torque of 500 Nm. The transmission system is an 8-speed manual transmission, and it comes standard with a full-time four-wheel drive system.
