BYD pure electric car Dolphin released in Colombia

BYD and Colombian distributor MOTORYSA recently officially released a new Ocean series model in the local area - the pure electric car Dolphin, which also appeared at Colombian Fashion Week.

BYD Dolphin is the first mass-produced model based on BYD e-platform 3.0. It is equipped with a BYD blade battery with a battery capacity of 44.9kWh and an NEDC pure electric cruising range of up to 405km.

The official said that the dolphin is BYD's "pure electric new species" specially created for the new generation of young users, and adopts the "marine aesthetics" design concept. The shape of the dolphin is simple and stylish, the interior lines are soft, and the personality is distinctive, full of electric and futuristic feeling.

Starting in 2020, BYD has cooperated with local dealer Motorysa to sell BYD's full range of new energy passenger vehicles in Colombia, including medium and large luxury flagship sedan Han EV, luxury pure electric SUV Tang EV, as well as Qin PLUS DM-i and Song PLUS High-end plug-in hybrid models such as DM-i. So far, BYD has delivered nearly 3,000 new energy vehicles to Colombia.
