Establish an automotive semiconductor application promotion working group, organize the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain to establish a collaborative research mechanism for automotive chips, and promote the improvement of automotive chip supply capabilities.


Luo Junjie also said that up to now, the automotive industry is still relatively affected by the shortage of chips, but based on various intentions, it is expected that the fourth quarter will ease compared with the third quarter.


On October 12, the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released data showing that the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached a new high in September. In September, the production and sales of new energy vehicles exceeded 350,000, with a market penetration rate of 17.3%. From January to September, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 2.166 million and 2.157 million, a year-on-year increase of 1.8 times and 1.9 times.


In addition, the Ministry of Public Security recently released statistics saying that as of September, the number of new energy vehicles in the country reached 6.78 million, accounting for 2.28% of the total number of vehicles. Among them, there are 5.52 million pure electric vehicles, accounting for 81.53% of the total number of new energy vehicles. In terms of new registrations, in the first three quarters of 2021, 1.871 million new energy vehicles were newly registered nationwide, an increase of 1.199 million vehicles or 178.49% year-on-year.
