China: Dongfeng Honda's new Yingshi Pai launched

Dongfeng Honda's new flagship sedan Yingshi Pai was officially launched in Wuzhen on July 3rd. The new car launched the e:PHEV plug-in hybrid version for the first time. The official guide price is 182,800 yuan to 258,800 yuan.

The new car is positioned as a medium-sized luxury sedan, and its appearance and positioning are similar to the new generation of Honda Accord. The length, width and height of the new car are 497918621449mm, and the wheelbase is 2830mm. The length is 1mm shorter than that of the new Accord, and the rest remains the same. However, the front face of Yingshi Pai is different from that of Accord, and the front grille adopts a vertical banner design.

The interior of the car is also replaced with a new generation of Honda family design style, a large area is wrapped with soft materials, and the seats are designed with a mix of leather and suede. The car is equipped with a 10.2-inch color TFT multi-function LCD instrument, a 12.3-inch DA smart screen, and an 11.5-inch HUD head-up display system. In addition, the new Yingshi Pai is equipped with Honda CONNECT 4.0 "Intelligent Guidance Interconnection" and Honda SENSING 360 "Safety Super Sensing" assisted driving system.

The new car is available in two powertrains: a 1.5T turbocharged engine and a plug-in hybrid system. The 1.5T turbocharged engine produces 194 horsepower and 243 Nm of torque, and is matched with a CVT transmission. The plug-in hybrid system consists of a 1.5L Atkinson-cycle engine, an electric motor, and a lithium-ion battery pack. The total system power is 215 horsepower, and the pure electric range is 105 kilometers.

The new Yingshi Pai is positioned as a direct competitor to the Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Passat, and Kia K5. With its stylish design, luxurious interior, and advanced technology, the new car is expected to be a strong contender in the market.
