China launches a new satellite to conduct land surveys


 

China launched a new satellite to monitor the Earth into space, from the Jiuquan Center, to launch satellites in northwest China. The Jiuquan Center said, in a statement on Wednesday, that the Kaofen-12-02 satellite was launched on board the Long March-4C" carrier missile at 6:45 a.m. Wednesday Beijing time, and it successfully entered its planned orbit.


He noted that the satellite will be used to conduct land surveys, urban planning, road network design, crop yield estimation, as well as disaster relief.
