Chrome OS: Integration of the Google Calendar is imminent

Chrome OS has become a usable system over the years. Here and there, however, a few subtleties are still missing that Google could throw-in. One of them would be that the Google Calendar could be neatly integrated into the system tray. That should be the case soon because Chrome Unboxed (via AndroidPolice ) came across a new calendar widget in the Canary version, which finally makes the Google calendar usable quickly.

If you are traveling with the Canary, you can activate the flag # calendar-view and activate the function after restarting with Alt + Shift + C. The feature is currently still in development, so be prepared for bugs.
