After a long wait, we have finally seen the release date of the JRPG Tales of Arise, which falls on September 10 this year. As we have known for a long time, the game will be released on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This list of platforms has been supplemented with versions for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S.
In an interview with Famitsu , the producer of the game, Yusuke Tomizawa, also provided the following information:
Tomizava is sure of the new release date, with the announcement waiting for the final stages of development in which the game is now located.
PlayStation 5 gamers can look forward to DualSense driver support. As an example, a different haptic response was used when using magic - an attack by fire will be clearly distinguishable from an attack by electricity.
If you purchase Tales of Arise on a PS4 or Xbox One, you will be given the option of a free upgrade to the next-gen version.
There will be two display modes on the new consoles, one focusing on 60FPS and the other on 4K resolution.
The goal of the developers was not to create a realistic environment, although some parts may work that way. Most of the time, the visual representation of the game will resemble watercolor illustrations, especially for distant objects.
The facial expressions of the characters have been significantly improved from previous parts.
The creators do not rule out the release of a demo version, but at the moment nothing is certain.
Below you can watch a demo that presents the game environment and also more than seven minutes of gameplay.
