Death Stranding is coming to PS5 and in an improved version
Now that the latest generation consoles are offering advantages such as better graphics, more resolution, and frames per second, there are several titles that are being developed with the intention of taking advantage of the new functions and being able to offer the best experience to gamers. And that is precisely what the Kojima Productions studio is promising, which announced that Death Stranding will come to PS5 and in an improved version.
As part of Summer Game Fest, an event created by Geoff Keighley after leaving the E3 host, Hideo Kojima made an appearance to announce that Kojima Productions is preparing a Death Stranding Director's Cut for the PlayStation 5.
According to Kojima Death, Stranding will not only arrive on the Sony console but it will be an improved version of the director's game. However, he did not share more details about the new version, although he did give a first look at some elements that will come in the title.
The director's cut is scheduled as "coming soon", an announcement with much more information is expected in the coming weeks. For now, what players are speculating after the news at Summer Game Fest is that the game will arrive with visual and performance improvements. And, although only a few scenes were shown, there are those who are comparing the title with Metal Gear Solid.
It should be noted that this will be the studio's first game after splitting with Konami. In fact, they pointed out that although Death Stranding was already in development, the video game studio was not allowing them to make the title as they had thought. Thus, it is rumored that the changes will include some new missions and control improvements.
