Epic Games filed a new complaint against "Apple" in Britain
Epic Games said it had filed a complaint with the UK Competition Regulatory Authority to support its investigation into Apple's anti-competitive behaviour, and the UK's Competition and Markets Authority said earlier this month that it had opened an investigation into Apple after complaints that iPhone Maker Terms and Conditions for App Developers were unfair and anti-competitive.
It is noteworthy that earlier, the Court of Appeal in the United Kingdom rejected the attempt of Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, to sue Apple in court in the United Kingdom over competition law, as Fortnite was removed from the Apple and Google app stores around the world after it violated the rules regarding purchases Inside the app.
The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) reported that Epic Games had sought, alleging that the rules were unfair, to obtain permission to prosecute each of the US tech giants in the UK, but the UK Court of Appeal granted Epic Games, which Also based in the United States, permission to follow Google only.
And while the judge said the UK was not the place to dispute Epic-Apple, it was not the same ruling when it came to Google for complicated legal reasons.
