GIANTS Software today announced Farming Simulator 22 - a new part of the popular farming series. This is another full-fledged notch, which is supposed to bring many interesting changes.
Probably the most interesting is the addition of the seasons, so farmers will have to deal with the unpleasant winter that will cover their crops with snow.
The two new maps, which will be followed by the updated alpine location Erlengrat, have not been forgotten either.
We can then look forward to more than 400 agricultural machines and tools from more than 100 authentic brands, when other categories will be added, unseen in older parts.
There will also be cooperative multiplayer for 8 people on consoles, and 16 on PC, Mac, and Google Stadium.
The title is powered by GIANTS Engine 9, which brings new improvements such as more realistic artificial intelligence behavior, better sounds, and an overall richer world. We'll also see DirectX 12 support, texture streaming, and other optimizations to make it all run even better. And we didn't forget to support modifications.
The authors also announced that they would ensure the release of the game themselves. The release is planned for the last quarter of this year, on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and Google Stadium.
