Fortnite announces Ariana Grande concert

Fortnite has become one of the most popular video games today. It has millions of players around the world who wait for the news after each season. But something that has characterized this title is that it goes beyond games and has performed virtual concerts with international stars. And the next one of them will be in charge of Ariana Grande.

Epic Games has announced that it will continue with its chain of Superstar Fortnite concerts. The game's developer has revealed a series of performances called "Rift Tour" that will star pop singer Ariana Grande.

The first show takes place on August 6 at 5 PM Mexico City time. However, they will be holding subsequent shows on August 7 and 8 to ensure that people in other time zones can tune in to the concert.

It should be said that the company is warning those attending the concert that if they do not want to miss anything, they should arrive early, it is recommending them to connect an hour before the show. They stated that the Rift Tour playlist will go live 30 minutes before the main event.

And, it will not only be about the show, there will also be special items for this occasion. Players will be able to choose an Ariana Grande outfit to play as the pop star, and Piggy Smallz Back Bling adds a cute touch as you take down your battle royale rivals. Both should appear in the Fortnite store starting August 4 at 7 PM in Mexico City. Additionally, show-goers will be able to get an umbrella glider.

As with J Balvin, Travis Scott and other artists who have appeared in Fortnite, the intention of the company with this initiative is, both to attract new players and to recover those who, for some reason, have stopped entering. It can be expected that Ariana Grande has the potential to attract people who would not otherwise play Fortnite, which would be positive even if only a fraction of them stick around after the singer finishes her performance.

It's also noteworthy that Epic is broadening the range of artists to include female stars, there had even been rumors that there might be a Lady Gaga performance, but it ultimately never happened. We will have to wait to see what their next steps will be in this regard.

Stars, that go beyond music

It must be said that the Ariana Grande concert is not the only novelty in terms of the participation of big stars in the game. A few days ago, LeBron James came to Fortnite through a pair of skins, one from the same American basketball player and another from Tune Squad LeBron from Space Jam: a new era.

The LeBron James skins are now available in the Battle Royale to be part of the Battle Pass Chapter 2 of Season 7. If you want to find them, you can locate them in the "LeBron James" section of the store. Regarding prices, the King James Lot, which includes the LeBron James skin, the King's Backpack backpack accessory, the Tune Squad LeBron skin, the Supreme Backpack backpack accessory, and the La Cancha es su Reinado loading screen, has a price of 2,500 V-Bucks.

If you don't want to spend that much, the LeBron James Skin with the King's Backpack Accessory costs 2,000 bucks. The Skin Tune Squad LeBron with the Supreme Backpack Backpacking Accessory is priced at 1,500 V-Bucks

It is worth remembering that both these skins and their accessories will remain for a limited time in the Fortnite Battle Royale store. And it must also be said that the objects are only accessories, that is, they do not affect the game in any way beyond being visual modifications.
