Genshin Impact PS5 version has reportedly been rated in Taiwan. While this suggests a PS5 upgrade is in the works and could come out whenever, the release date for the Hu Tao banner is far likely closer. Here you’ll discover everything reported about the Hu Tao banner release date and its 4 stars characters for Genshin Impact.
While update 1.3 first arrived with just the Five Flushes of Fortune photography event, the exciting Lantern Rite is now available. And it has come with the Theater Mechanicus exclusive game which players have been cheesing by yeeting enemies into space. The Lantern Rite and its Theater Mechanicus are only available until February 28th with the Xiao market open until March 7th.
The most recently leaked 4 star characters for the Hu Tao banner in Genshin Impact include Xingqiu. MiHoYo’s other allegedly leaked 4 stars characters for the Genshin Impact Hu Tao banner are Razor and Chongyun. Know that the above is not confirmed, and that they are merely leaks found on social media spaces like Facebook (via Sportskeeda).
While the Facebook post includes an allegedly leaked look at the banner which will supposedly be called Discourse of the Departed, it could easily be fan made and thus phony. As for the 4 star characters said to be included, Xingqiu and Chongyun are featured in the Stand By Me event, and this could put their inclusion in doubt. It’s possible that Xingiu or Chongyun could be included as Stand By Me’s Beidou and Ningguang are part of the Xiao and Keqing banners respectively. However, Hu Tao will most likely only include one from Stand By Me instead of two to maintain the format.
The allegedly leaked release date for the Hu Tao banner in Genshin Impact is March 3rd. Although unconfirmed, there’s a chance this release date for the Hu Tao banner in Genshin Impact could be true as the Keqing banner ends on March 2nd. If the above does happen and we go by miHoYo’s rule of six weeks, this means the banner could be available for two weeks similar to Keqing and Xiao.
The above is assuming that Genshin Impact update 1.4 arrives on March 17th, which would be six weeks after February 3rd. A March 3rd release date for the Hu Tao banner in Genshin Impact makes sense because of the above reasoning, but remember it’s not confirmed by miHoYo.
