Genshin Impact version 3.1 is pre-downloaded today

Yuan Shen will officially open the pre-download function on PC and mobile terminals at 11:00 today (before the 3.1 version update). The new version will be officially launched on September 28. After completing the pre-download, you can experience the new version content faster after the version update maintenance is over.

In addition, the "Genshin Impact" Online Concert 2022 web page event is now open. The deadline for the event is 23:59 on October 1st. Players can get in-game prop packs of original stone x30 and Mora x20000.

When pre-downloading on the mobile terminal, some new resources will be downloaded in advance, which will speed up the resource download progress on the login interface after the version update, and reduce the time consumed by resource download. When the version is updated, the iOS device still needs to enter the App Store and manually click to update.

For Android devices, the device needs to enter the game and follow the in-game pop-up prompts to complete the update (or enter the app store and click Update). In addition, mobile travelers cannot play the game during pre-download, and players are advised to do so after completing Rifts or various challenges.

The PC side can play the game while pre-downloading, but since the download will take up a certain amount of network bandwidth, it is recommended that players perform this operation when the network condition is good.

Update method

Mobile (iOS & Android):

Method 1: Click the Paimon icon in the game - Settings - Others - Pre-download resource packs to start pre-downloading.

Method 2: Click the [Pre-download resource package] icon in the lower-left corner of the login interface to start the pre-download.

When the version is updated, the iOS device needs to enter the App Store and click Update. After the Android device enters the game, follow the in-game pop-up prompts to complete the update (or enter the app store and click Update). Anyone who has pre-downloaded can speed up the download progress of resources on the login interface.

PC side:

After the function is open, the launcher needs to be updated first. After the update is complete, on the launcher interface, the [Game Pre-Download] button will appear to the left of the [Start Game] button, click to get the new version of the game package. Any pre-download can speed up the update progress of the launcher when the version is updated.
