Google broke the law again

Google has again been found guilty. This time, the search giant was fined $ 177 million in South Korea. The reason is the abuse of dominance and suppression of competition in the Android market.

According to the source, the fine is related to one of Google's requirements for manufacturers. It implies a ban on manufacturers from installing modified versions of Android on their devices. In addition to the fine, Google was also ordered to waive the stipulated requirements.

This is far from the first such fine for Google, and hardly the last. For example, just a couple of months ago, the company was fined $ 590 million for about the same reasons, and a couple of months before that there was another fine - $ 123 million.
