Google Chat for PC gets dark mode after Android and iOS versions

Google has announced the distribution of dark mode in Google Chat for PC (web version and Progressive Web App). Now, yet another service from the search giant provides comfort and eye comfort in low light conditions.

In terms of design, the interface is very similar to the dark theme that has long been available in the Android and iOS versions of Google Chat. Users get a dark gray tone with shades of green that highlight your current conversation. In the typesetting field, the shade of gray is lighter.

The new interface is available to all Google Workspace customers, as well as G Suite Basic and Business customers. Administrators do not need to do anything to enable this feature. In the meantime, end-users should go to settings and then select theme settings where they can turn on dark mode.

The update is being distributed gradually, so don't worry if you don't have a corresponding item in the settings so far. The source notes that the update will be available to all users within 15 days.
