Hennessey shows off the potential of his Chevrolet Corvette C7 Z06 Convertible

Before the expected arrival of the Chevrolet Corvette C8, Hennessey Performance continues to bet on the previous versions and this time it demonstrates the potential of the C7, a reference in terms of character thanks to the potential that it allows extracting its famous V8 gasoline engine.

In fact, the American preparer presents different customization options that allow you to have a car on demand. This time he shows a video of a unit that mounts the HPE850 pack and that rolls near the Hennessey Performance facilities located in Texas.


Recall that the C7 Z06 already mounts a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that has a power of 650 hp. This modified version allows this figure to be raised to 850 thanks to very significant and important changes in the engine that affect the intake valves, cylinder head, induction system, camshaft, to the complete exhaust line that now has a converter high flow catalytic.


The aforementioned 850 hp are complemented by a torque of 969 Nm at 4,300 rpm that according to Hennessey Performance allow acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.6 seconds and reach 219 in 10.3. The version in the video includes an automatic gearbox, although you can also mount this power pack in which is manual, for the most.
