Gameplay can be recorded on PS4 by pressing the Share button on the PS4 controller twice in quick succession, and the recording can be stopped at any time by pressing the button twice again.
How to Autosave Recorded Gameplay on PS4?
Your PlayStation 4 automatically records the last 15 minutes of gameplay and saves them to your device's video cache.
Press the "Share" button on your PS4 console, just press the share button once, pressing it twice will start a new recording and clear the cache.
Select Save Video or press the square button on your controller.
How to Edit and Share Recorded Gameplay on PS4?
From the PS4 home screen, select Capture Gallery.
Find and select the clip you want to share.
Press "Options" and select "Truncate".
Scroll through the timeline with the D-Pad on your console until you find where you want the clip to start.
Press L2 , you can also press X and then select Start Here.
Navigate to where you want the clip to end and press R2, you can also press X and then select End here.
Press OK and select whether you want to save the trim version as a new clip or overwrite the existing version, saving as a new clip will keep the original clip while replacing it will lose the original clip.
Select the clip in Capture Gallery and hit the share button on your console. Decide if you want to upload it to Twitter and YouTube, and select Share to start the upload.
