How to see WhatsApp statuses without them knowing?

WhatsApp, the most popular instant messaging service in the world, has among its tools the popular Status created in 2016 and is widely used by its users.

The Status function, above all, for users, to disseminate their day-to-day activities through photos, videos, GIFs, stickers, and other elements. Although in less than 24 hours, everything that is published in the states disappears.

But, like a message in the chat, when you open a WhatsApp status it is reflected that you did, and whoever uploaded that status will be able to see which contact of yours saw it. The famous blue double tick is also found in the stories of the app.

WITHOUT THEM KNOWING.

If you want to see the WhatsApp statuses of acquaintances that you have scheduled without anyone knowing, there is a special trick for you.

To do this, you do not have to install third-party applications and there are two very effective methods:

• Go to Settings by opening the upper right icon of the three vertical dots.

• Look for the Account section and then go to the Privacy

• At the bottom, you will see the option to delete the Read Receipts.

This serves several things since by directly deactivating the blue double-check, no one will know when you read a message that was sent to you, or when you saw the status of a contact. But, just as they won't be able to see if you've read it, you won't be able to see if a contact read yours either.

The problem is that as soon as you activate the option again, WhatsApp will send the notifications of 'seen' that it had pending and your contact will know that you saw their status.

Unless you wait 1 day: As a general rule, a WhatsApp status disappears within 24 hours of being uploaded. If you wait that long, and the next day you turn on the Read Confirmation function again when the status of your contact has disappeared, the contact will never know you saw it.

The second method is to do a little searching in the folders that make up the storage of your mobile device.

• Among the icons you have on your cell phone, look for one in the shape of a folder called 'My Files' or File Explorer'

• Enter the Internal Phone Memory section

• Look for the WhatsApp folder among those that appear. If for whatever reason you don't see it, try inside the 'Media' folder.

• When you are inside the WhatsApp folder that is in the memory of your cell phone, you will see several folders: Images, voice notes, etc.

• Look for the three drop-down dots icon in the upper right corner to display the options menu.

• Open Settings

• Find the option 'Show hidden files' and activate it

• Go back to the WhatsApp folders and you will see new ones, including Status

And ready! Inside this folder, you will see all the photos, images, or videos that your WhatsApp contacts have in their status. In this way, you will be able to view them without opening WhatsApp, which will prevent the seen notification from being sent.

The trick is exclusive to Android and only works for the states that are photos or videos, not text.
