Are you able to withstand the demonic forces of Jupiter in a game where turn-based mechanics are combined with the roguelike genre? Jupiter Hell from ChaosForge and Hyperstrange publishes Early Access on August 5th on Steam, GOG, and Humble.
Following a successful Kickstarter campaign backed by John Carmack himself, Jupiter Hell made it to Steam Early Access in March 2019.
After many months of hard work, the ChaosForge team is thrilled to present the final version 1.0 of the game, which, in addition to many new features, features a dub by Mark Mir (Shepard from Mass Effect).
Jupiter Hell 1.0 introduces:
Dante's Station is the fourth and final act of a gripping story about the survival of one hero against the hordes of Jupiter. Includes the final boss fight!
Challenge Mode is a new customizable way to enjoy Jupiter Hell. Your script, your run, and your funeral.
Arena - reflect the attacks of waves of enemies for valuable items and experience.\
Endless mode - conquer all possible random levels without episodes and scenario branches. How far can you go?
Classic mode - nothing will distract you from the sweet destruction of hordes of demons, no scenario, no offshoot.
As well as other fun content that the team will tell you about later.
Jupiter Hell is a turn-based roguelike and spiritual successor to the classic DRL (originally known as Doom, Roguelike), set in a sci-fi universe inspired by the 90s. The plot of the game unfolds on the moons of Jupiter and tells the story of a lonely space paratrooper who fell into a real demonic hell. Players will have to tear and throw zombies, demons, and other monsters with the help of brutal weapons such as shotguns, machine guns, a reliable chainsaw, and much more. And all this action is accompanied by a peppy heavy metal soundtrack.
In Jupiter Hell, traditional turn-based roguelike mechanics meet the charm of modern shooters. The control of the character is carried out quickly and smoothly and at the same time does not interfere with the step-by-step component. You can customize your character with a variety of weapons, equipment and abilities unlocked as you progress through procedurally generated civilian sectors, military space bases, and mining colonies on the moons of Jupiter.
Features of the game:
Fast response tactical turn-based combat - enjoy classic roguelike mechanics combined with the charm of modern shooters.
The role-playing component that matters - customize your character with new weapons, items, and abilities obtained as you progress.
Chaotic levels on the moons of Jupiter - fight in procedurally generated civilian sectors, military space bases, and mining colonies. Each playthrough will give new sensations.
Spiritual successor - Jupiter Hell was developed by a team with 20 years of experience creating space roguelikes and is the real culmination of ChaosForge's career.
Jupiter Hell is available on PC on Steam, GOG, and Humble.
