Leap Motor officially landed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange

Leap Motor is officially listed in Hong Kong today. The opening price on the first day of listing was HK$41 per share, a drop of more than 14% from the issue price of HK$48. Based on this calculation, the current market value of Leapmotor is about HK$37.8 billion.


On March 17, Leap Motor submitted a listing application to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, with CICC, Citigroup, JPMorgan Chase, and CCB International as the joint sponsors. According to the prospectus, from 2019 to 2021, Leap Motor's total revenue is about 117 million yuan, 631 million yuan, and 3.132 billion yuan respectively; operating losses are about 730 million yuan, 869 million yuan, and 2.868 billion yuan respectively.

  • Ningbo Hualing holds 5.59% of the shares

  • 51 other shareholders hold 68.99%
