Mail was launched on VKontakte

The VKontakte team announced the launch of a new service in the social network ecosystem. The launch of VK Mail is timed to coincide with the beginning of the school year.

Users can get a mailing address with a short domain @ vk.com. As the developers note, VK Mail is a service for exchanging letters with reliable protection, minimalistic design, and the ability to customize everything for yourself.

Users have access to themes from VKontakte, automatic sorting of letters, and quick smart replies that are created using machine learning, as well as the ability to unsubscribe from unnecessary mailing with one click and protection from spam. You can log in to VK Mail using a single VK Connect account.

When you receive a letter from the store, you can immediately go to the chat with the company in the VKontakte messenger and clarify the details: for example, order status or delivery time. At the moment, it will be possible to quickly contact seven companies, including Ozon, Wildberries, and Lamoda. The developers plan that soon it will be possible to open a chat with almost any brand or online store.

Users can create mail using the short address of the VKontakte page - for example, alex.bunin@vk.com. This feature will continue for 30 days after the mail is launched or after the user updates the profile address.

You can quickly unsubscribe from mailings using the "Unsubscribe" button right in the letter. In addition, unclaimed mailings are collected on a separate page - you can unsubscribe from them in one fell swoop.

VK Mail is available in the mobile application on iOS and Android and in the web version. You can register in the VK mobile application: for this you need to go to the "Services" tab and click on the " VK Mail " button .
