Microsoft will continue to expand recruitment in China in the next year

With the 30th anniversary of its establishment in China, Microsoft announced that while continuing to practice its long-term commitment to the Chinese market, it will focus on talent acquisition, park expansion, education investment, and local ecology. Four aspects to further increase investment.


In terms of talent, Microsoft announced that it will continue to expand recruitment in China in the next year, and the total number of employees is expected to exceed 10,000. At present, Microsoft has more than 9,000 full-time employees in China, 80% of which are R&D and engineering technicians.


On the basis of expanding recruitment, Microsoft also plans to upgrade and expand its parks in Beijing, Shanghai, and Suzhou in the next three to five years. Since the opening of the first office in Beijing in 1992, Microsoft China has had branch offices in 13 cities including Shanghai, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Guangzhou.


On the education front, Microsoft announced that the basic technology certification qualifications are free to all eligible students. Microsoft will focus on the latest technology applications and industrial practices in the fields of the Internet, cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, and create a complete talent growth path from curriculum learning, professional certification, talent docking, and technical ability improvement.


In addition, Microsoft announced upgrading the "Sunrise Project" again. By integrating existing ecological resources and building a learning and employment platform for the Microsoft ecosystem, the first batch will cooperate with nearly 100 leading partners and many Chinese colleges and universities.
