The Department of Transport and Road Infrastructure Development of Moscow announced an important achievement in a pilot project to pay for travel by “face” with the participation of passengers - a new payment method became available on all lines of the Moscow metro.

Liksutov explained:
14 lines and 241 metro stations are connected to the Face Pay service. Moscow became the first city in the world to use facial recognition for fare payments on such a scale. The final stage of testing has begun today, according to the results of which we will be ready to launch an innovative service for all metro passengers. Now we are also considering the possibility of launching the service at the MCC, MCD and ground transport. On behalf of the Mayor of Moscow, we will also soon introduce a discount system for Face Pay users. "
