Mozilla turns Firefox for Android into a password manager for all smartphone apps

Mozilla today announced a new version of Firefox for Android with major changes to password storage.
The main highlight of Firefox 93 for Android is its built-in password manager, and it works throughout the system. With passwords saved in Firefox, you can automatically log into accounts with other applications, such as Twitter or Instagram. As the developers emphasize, there is no need to open the web version, the login and password will be automatically entered directly into the application.
When you create a new account in any application on a smartphone, this data can be immediately saved in the Firefox browser, and then they are automatically synchronized between the mobile and desktop versions of Firefox. There is also support for biometric authentication - logging into accounts is possible using a fingerprint scanner or face recognition.
