Musk said Apple has fully resumed Twitter advertising

Elon Musk confirmed that Apple has fully resumed advertising on Twitter. Later, he tweeted that he thanked advertisers for returning to Twitter.

Just last week, Musk publicly shamed Apple for basically stopping advertising on Twitter and questioning whether the company hates free speech in America.

Apple has never confirmed or denied that it has stopped advertising on Twitter. There was never any indication that the slowdown in advertising was due to Musk buying the rights to Twitter.

Musk visited Apple Park on Wednesday to meet with Tim Cook. The meeting seemed to go well, with Musk noting that Cook said Apple never planned to remove Twitter from the app store.

At this evening's Twitter Spaces event, Musk confirmed that Apple has once again stepped up its advertising efforts on Twitter.

Musk said, Apple has fully reinstated advertising on Twitter. Apple is Twitter's largest advertiser.

A Washington Post report earlier this week noted that Apple spent an estimated $131,600 on Twitter ads between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16, down from Oct. 16-10. $220,800 on March 22, the week before Musk bought Twitter.

Of course, Apple doesn't publicly disclose any of its ad spending information. We have no way of knowing if the company stopped advertising on Twitter because of Elon Musk. In addition, Musk did not specify which companies besides Apple have resumed advertising on Twitter.
