NASA's helicopter successfully makes its seventh flight on Mars

NASA said, NASA's Ingenuity robotic helicopter successfully made its seventh flight on Mars.

Another successful flight. The Martian helicopter completed its seventh flight, the second within its demonstration phase of operations, NASA announced on Twitter.

It is specified that the aircraft flew for 62.8 seconds and traveled about 106 meters south to a new landing site.

The tweet is accompanied by a black and white image captured during the flight.

The 6-pound Ingenuity robotic helicopter landed on Mars in February as part of the Perseverance rover.

The rover is on a mission to search for evidence of ancient microbial life, collect rocks to be returned to Earth in a possible manned mission, and explore the geology and climate of the red planet to help pave the way for human missions.
