NetEase, Blizzard's "Diablo: Immortal" is online in-app purchases will cost $110,000

"Diablo: Immortal" mobile game international server has been available to install on Android and iOS devices through Google Play and App Store last week. It can be downloaded and played for free, but there are a lot of in-app purchases.

While this monetization model is fairly common these days, Diablo: Immortal may be a little easier to make money than most players think. According to YouTuber @Bellular News, the game's in-app purchase system costs a lot of money.

According to a Bellular News video, Diablo: Immortal allows players to purchase so-called "Legendary Gemes." This is also one of the three main directions of character enhancement. In addition to conventional equipment and levels, this system also determines the player's strength.

Allegedly, if you just hit the max level in Diablo: Immortal, it doesn't seem to be able to achieve the best gaming experience.

So far, free-to-play players haven't been able to get the top-rated Legendary Games, as that's only available through some of the game's in-app purchases. At this stage, it actually costs over $110,000 to fully max out a character.

Matt and Michael of Bellular News consider Diablo's "Legendary Gemes" to be a very complex system, and it would take free-to-play players about 10 years to equip a character from the current iteration of the game.

It is worth mentioning that "Legendary Gemes" are not guaranteed to drop even for paying players, as they will only be obtained randomly when purchasing Legendary Crests (similar to box-opening mechanics).

The national service of "Diablo Immortal" will be officially launched on PC, iOS, and Android platforms on June 23. It is reported that the game supports cross-platform games.

According to the official introduction, the newly created "Diablo: Immortal" will bring players the real experience of playing "Diablo" on touch-screen devices. Intuitive controls, gestures, and touchscreen controls give players total control over their heroes, and the experience of destroying endless demons is as easy as using a controller and keyboard.
