Opel renews its compact car
Opel has unveiled some images that give a hint of the first electrified generation of the compact of the German brand. The photographs reveal the design philosophy and anticipate the line of other models.
The future Astra will open an exciting new chapter in the 30-year history of our compact, says Opel CEO Michael Lohscheller, adding, We are confident that the next-generation Opel Astra will make a great impression and attract to many new customers to the brand.
From an aesthetic point of view, the exterior is characterized by the Opel Vizor design language, unveiled for the first time in the Mokka. It can be seen on the front that extends across the entire front area and integrates ultra-slim headlights with IntelliLux LED technology. In the rear area, the model designation is clearly located in the center of the tailgate.

As for the interior, it stands out as an unprecedented digital Pure Panel instrumentation with fully glazed surfaces that include two panoramic screens in horizontal format oriented to the driver that offers the necessary information. The physical controls have been reduced to the bare minimum in the form of buttons.
