The Opera browser is now available in the Microsoft Store for the Windows operating system. This means that Windows users have this browser available directly in the operating system without having to search for it on the Internet.

Opera offers a wide range of features, including an ad blocker, as well as sidebar-integrated instant messengers and social networks. Opera developers praised the new key distribution channel and the ability to interact directly with Windows device owners.

We are grateful to users for supporting Opera and asking for our browser to appear in the Microsoft Store for Windows. Opening the Microsoft Store to other browsers and giving users more choices is a step in the right direction. - Damian Trelka, Head of Desktop Browsers at Opera
