Renault unveils electric Mobilize Limo
An automobile corporation Renault has presented a new electric car under the Mobilize sub-brand. The four-door Mobilize Limo sedan is planned to be used mainly in car-sharing services and taxi companies. The car received an electric motor with a capacity of 150 hp. and a torque of 220 Nm.
The maximum speed of Mobilize Limo was 140 km / h, acceleration to 100 km / h takes 9.6 seconds, the batteries have a capacity of 60 kWh, and the range is 450 km. As Mobilize emphasizes, refueling in 40 minutes will allow you to drive another 250 km.
The electric vehicle has such useful functions for the driver as adaptive cruise control, tracking road signs and objects in blind spots, lane keeping and lane change assistance, and collision warnings. There is a system for audible warning of pedestrians and other vehicles about the presence of a car, which is always active at speeds below 30 km / h.
Also among the features are LED headlights, eight airbags, a digital dashboard with a 10.25-inch screen, a multimedia system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, all-round cameras, front and rear parking sensors, and telematics complex.
The media system will be able to "mirror" the smartphone, as most drivers use their own devices to navigate and access various platforms such as Uber. Limo application for drivers is provided. It will be able to provide information about the car and be used to remotely access the vehicle's location and certain functions, such as opening or closing doors, starting pre-conditioning, and recharging the battery. The sedan has a length of 4.67 m, a width of 1.83 m, and a height of 1.47 m, the trunk boasts a capacity of 411 liters.
It is planned that Mobilize Limo will become available in carsharing services and taxi companies in the second half of 2022, the retail price has not been disclosed, it is noted that it will be offered by subscription. Limo's international debut will take place at the Munich Motor Show on September 8, 2021.
