It looks like one of the big manufacturers is preparing a new open-source driver in the Linux kernel for graphics cards. One of the DRM administrators, Daniel Vetter, published it on his Twitter on Friday. It could be Nvidia drivers, which have an open-source Nouveau driver, but it is not very useful for new cards.
The second possibility is that it is Microsoft and its driver DXGKRNL (DirectX Kernel Driver) for WSL2. And the last (probably least likely) version is that it is Apple and the driver for the M1 GPU.
