South Korea entered the top five in the ranking of world innovators for the first time

South Korea has been ranked among the top five technology innovators for the first time in the latest rankings published by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). South Korea ranked tenth in last year's ranking. In compiling the ranking, WIPO ranks 132 countries according to several criteria.

Switzerland retained first place. The second continued to be occupied by Sweden, the third by the United States, and the fourth by the United Kingdom.

The Netherlands dropped from fifth to sixth place, while Denmark, which occupied it last year, dropped to ninth. The seventh and eighth places, like last year, are taken by Finland and Singapore. Germany, which previously occupied the ninth place, closes the top ten.
