At the PC Gaming Show, we could see new samples from the upcoming survival Icarus, which is backed by a team around Dean Hall, who was one of the main characters in the development of DayZ from the position of designer and author of the original concept.
After leaving Bohemia Interactive, Dean Hall returned to New Zealand, where he founded RocketWerkz. It is this team that is currently completing the interesting-looking Icarus title. The game received a new trailer today and a release date that was set for August 11th. So far, only a PC version is planned.
Icarus is a PvE survival for up to 8 players. As in other survival games, you can collect things, craft, build, fight, and especially survive. Variable extreme weather should be an essential part of the game. In addition to the trailer, you can also see older shots directly from the game below. You can get more detailed information on Steam or the official website of the project.
