Suspected facelift Tesla Model 3 Exposed

Tesla is developing a facelifted Model 3, code-named Highland, and this information is likely to be accurate. Because some netizens posted photos on Twitter that were suspected to exposing the upcoming facelift Model 3, the photos showed that the front and rear of the car were mostly camouflaged, and Tesla's license plate was also used.

Twitter user omg_Tesla/Rivian spotted the prototype in a parking lot in Santa Cruz, California, and took a video and a few photos of what the Tesla Model 3 will do, even through the camouflage. some changes. For example, what appears to be a camera at the top of the headlights can be seen, whereas the current model does not. If it is a camera, its function may be to eliminate blind spots, or it may be to improve the observation ability of the vehicle during automatic driving.

Considering the front is also camouflaged through the hood, guess this is due to a new front bumper design and maybe even a new hood (otherwise it wouldn't bother to fit the hood all the way to the windshield ). The rear is also camouflaged, with only the sides of the light clusters exposed, though, the taillights themselves don't appear to be any different. Also, just like the front, the entire rear bumper is hidden, as is the trunk lid, strongly hinting at a new design for these places.

Tesla is developing a facelifted Model 3, according to four people familiar with the matter said, aimed at cutting production costs and making the five-year-old electric sedan more attractive. It is reported that Tesla's Shanghai Gigafactory will start production of the facelifted Model 3 in the third quarter of 2023.
