Additionally, 💩 (a pile of poo), 😠 (angry face), and 😳 (blushing face) were respondents' least favorite emojis to use, with results varying by state.
Adobe conducted a survey of 5,000 emoji users, and 91% of the respondents said they use emojis to "make the atmosphere of the conversation easier". 73% said people who use emojis are "friendlier, funnier and cooler" than those who don't, and half of the respondents said they were more likely to reply to a message if it included an emoji.
71% said emojis are an "important conversational tool" for mutual understanding, and 75% said they "feel more connected" with those who use them. 71% of users use emojis at work, and 68% prefer that people use emojis at work. Among emoji users, 75% send at least 50 emojis in online messages per day, and most emojis are sent via text messages.
