The E3 2022 game show will continue to be held online

The American Entertainment Software Association (ESA) said on January 6 that due to the continued development of the new crown epidemic, in order to ensure the safety of exhibitors and attendees, this year's E3 game show will continue to be done online.

Since December 2021, the new crown Omicron strain has spread rapidly around the world, with more than 100,000 new infections every day in the United States. At the recently held CES 2022 Consumer Electronics Show, many large companies announced that they would cancel their offline exhibition activities and move their products to online release as they approached the opening.

At the E3 game show in 2021, Ubisoft, Nintendo, Capcom, Xbox, etc. conducted live broadcasts for several days to promote new games.

According to foreign media, the organizers of the E3 game show have not announced the specific time and plan of this year's exhibition but said that more details will be announced in the near future.
