The new Honda Civic gets sportier with Mugen accessories

A little over two months ago we were able to officially meet the eleventh generation of the Honda Civic after many waits. And as is usual in the Japanese firm - it has already happened with the Honda HR-V - after the premiere of a model, its preparer and closest collaborator, Mugen, showed us a preview of his new version of the model, with a whole range of accessories for the new generation of the Japanese compact. Accessories that, as promised, are now officially presented and in full with the arrival of September.

Sporty style inside and out

Some accessories that manage to offer the new Civic a much more sporty look that is achieved mainly thanks to a new body kit that includes a front splitter, some side skirts, and accessories for the rear bumper also in dark color. The skirts and spoilers in the bumper area are available in the different paint finishes to match the body tone or opt for a different one. There is also a low rear spoiler and one for the tailgate.

All this is accompanied by a series of Mugen stickers for the body, for example, one on the front grille with a carbon fiber effect, others on the rear bumper, and other silver under the headlights.

The other part of this new exterior style comes from the hand of new exclusive 18-inch forged aluminum wheels as well as a new sports exhaust system with double oval tailpipes. Even the rear-view mirrors now show a much more sporty and aerodynamic style and appear in black color, while the rear windows can have side deflectors in the frames.

All the details, in September

In addition to all these mainly aesthetic details, Mugen points out that there are also performance parts for this new Civic, with the aforementioned new exhaust, a high-performance oil filter, Type S brake calipers, improved discs, or a radiator cap from high pressure among other components.

Of course, at the moment we do not know if these parts will reach Europe or if at least they will be available for the European Civic, which was presented only with a non-plug-in hybrid system with a 2.0 or 1.5-liter turbo engine with an electric motor for a power joint 160 and 182 hp respectively. What we do know is that for Japanese customers, interior adjustments can also be made with new floor mats and door sill plates.
