The self-developed L4 level full-size stainless steel liquid launch vehicle storage tank succeeded

According to the release of Jianyuan Technology, the first blasting test of its self-developed L4 (4-meter-diameter class) full-scale thin-walled stainless steel liquid launch vehicle tank was a complete success. The development code of the storage tank is T2.1, about 23 meters high, and the actual weight is about 3.6 tons. It will be used in the first stage of the "Yuanxingzhe No. 1 (XZY-1)" liquid launch vehicle.

This test is the first blasting test of a full-scale stainless steel storage tank of a medium and large liquid launch vehicle in China. By pressurizing the storage tank step by step (P1 to P6), the internal pressure bearing limit of the storage tank is obtained and loaded to a P5 pressure grade product destroy. This test verified the correctness and adaptability of the structural design of the storage tank of the Yuanxingzhe-1 carrier rocket, and provided strong support for the closed-loop overall plan of the Yuanxingzhe-1 (XZY-1) liquid carrier rocket; Jianyuan Technology determined the structure of the storage tank The design and manufacturing baseline lays the foundation for the subsequent engineering application of Quanjian stainless steel.

The interior of the storage tank is designed with ring frame purlins, which have a simple and reliable structure, high quality, and low price.

The stainless steel rocket (XZH-1 D1) based on the stainless steel thin-walled storage tank will be ignited for a 70-ton power test run at the end of 2022 to verify the correctness of the entire rocket power system scheme and interface matching.

Yuan Xing Zhe No. 1 (XZY-1) liquid launch vehicle control system (including servo mechanism) and first-stage engine combined swing heat test run will be carried out in early 2023.
