Now it was the turn of his older brother, the Toyota Tundra TRD Pro, which in recent days has anticipated its presentation with a series of leaks of its final appearance.
Toyota's Raptor-killer
However, the Japanese brand did not want to wait any longer to show the world its final appearance officially, so in the last hours, it has published a first image of what will be the biggest rival of the F-150 Raptor within Toyota.
Now completely uncovered we find a Tundra that sports a more muscular and sporty appearance in which a front with an LED light bar integrated into its grill that bears the Toyota name stands out, while in the rear, shown in the Leaked photos take center stage in the TRD Pro designation of this special edition, along with a bumper that sports a curious camouflage pattern similar to that found on the front, with the Tundra name written on it, and on the fenders.
To reinforce that sporty look the new Tundra TRD Pro also features a new set of special TRD Pro wheels that fit on 285/65 Falken Wildpeak all-terrain tires.
An improved suspension and hybrid mechanics?
On a mechanical level, although its specifications have not yet been confirmed, we can expect a new V6 Biturbo engine, one that could even be a hybrid if we consider that Toyota has previously shown a photo of the engine with the iForce MAX badge with blue lettering, suggesting a possible hybrid powertrain.
In any case, what we will surely find is a revised suspension, with a new configuration for the rear that will have coil springs, tires or even an independent rear suspension, to have an off-road performance worthy of the best picks. up sports.
