Premium scooter maker Unagi has announced its first smart scooter dubbed the Model Eleven and a number of non-standard features for this kind of vehicle.

First, it has a built-in Bluetooth speaker that lets you play audio and receive instructions from your voice assistant while navigating. Yes, the scooter is equipped with a GPS module and the corresponding app is available for both iOS and Android. After selecting a destination, the smart scooter's display shows navigation steps, while voice guidance for driving direction is given through the speaker.

Speaking of safety, it is worth noting that the smart scooter is equipped with an alarm based on a motion sensor. Also, using the application, a stolen scooter can be blocked remotely. However, given its size, it is clear that a thief can simply carry the device in his hands.

The older version has an ADAS sensor that can recognize people, some road signs, cars, and many other objects. It will warn the user of a potential collision both through the audio system and through the display.

The company claims it is the lightest full-suspension electric scooter on the market. The carbon fiber body allowed for low weight. The scooter is foldable, and has a replaceable battery and puncture-proof tires.

The base model costs $ 2,440, while the older one is priced at $ 2,860. Unagi smart scooters are available for pre-order on Indiegogo.

In a short time, the developers have already raised more than $ 200,000 in funding.
