Wales Interactive is preparing an interactive film based on a popular gamebook

Some of our readers may remember the popular series of gamebooks called Fighting Fantasy by Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone, which was also published in our country.

If you subsequently enjoyed this series, then probably one of your favorite works is the one called Labyrinth of Death, where you walked through the dangerous maze Fang, which was built by Baron Sukumvit.

And if you watch our site closely, you know that some time ago a digital version of this work was released, when its story was told to you by Eddie Marsan (Deadpool 2).

In any case, the work is probably so popular that its ideas will be borrowed by people from Wales Interactive and Good Gate Media, who will work together to bring us the interactive film Deathtrap Dungeon: The Golden Room.

In him, as a brave hero, we will have to survive all the pitfalls of the "Golden Room", where we will make various story decisions that can lead to our death, but also to fame.

On the screens, we will meet Georgia Hirst (Vikings) or Marcus Fraser (Transformers: The Last Knight). Later, the same technology was used to create the scenes as in The Mandalorian (you can learn more about it in 4:52 from an older video on the Corridor Crew channel).

The release date is set for 2022, when iOS, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, and Nintendo Switch will be available.

Those interested can currently play a demo on Steam and Xbox One.
