YouTube Music comes to old smartwatches

Google has expanded its list of Wear OS smartwatches for which YouTube Music is available. As a reminder, YouTube Music became available for use on watches with the Wear OS platform only at the end of August 2021. However, only users of the latest Samsung Galaxy Watch4 with the new Wear OS 3.0 platform could enjoy the innovation.

You can now install the YouTube Music app on older Wear OS 2 watches:

• Michael Kors Gen 6

• Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3

• Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 3 LTE

• Mobvoi TicWatch E3

Note that the YouTube Music app became available for Apple smartwatches in October 2020, but Google was in no hurry with a similar release for the proprietary platform.
