A number of Microsoft's flagship cloud productivity services failed yesterday throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Our preliminary findings indicate that the performance of our service infrastructure is constrained at a sub-optimal, resulting in normal service functions not being used normally.
The message said Exchange Online user customers may not be able to access the service, send email and/or files, or use what Microsoft describes as general functionality. The implications for Teams users include:
There may be issues with users scheduling/editing meetings and live meetings.
People Picker/Search functionality may not work as expected.
Users may not be able to search Microsoft Teams.
Users may be unable to load the Tasks tab in Microsoft Teams.
Messaging, chat, channels, and other core Teams services still appear to be available.
Microsoft said,

While we continue to analyze relevant diagnostic data, we are attempting to restart a subset of the affected infrastructure and observe that restarts mitigate this problem.
At 3:14 pm International Standard Time, it was pointed out that the incident now also affects SharePoint Online, Microsoft PowerApps, and Microsoft PowerAutomate.
