A report reveals the details of the availability of the Apple TV application on Android TV

The Apple TV application is now available on Android TV devices, and it is one of the rare applications that have been published from iDevices on the Google platform. Google told 9to5Google that the Apple TV app is now available for the entire Android TV OS operating system, including streaming devices such as the Mi TV Stick, Box, and TiVO Stream 4K.

The revelation came after Nvidia announced at its virtual Computex conference this week that Apple TVapp was accessing its Shield TV streaming box. A Xiaomi India executive confirmed that the app will reach the entire range of TVs. We searched for the app on OnePlus TV in India, and we can confirm that it is indeed available.

If you've purchased an Apple device, the company will introduce a one-year subscription to the Apple TV+ streaming service, plus the iPhone maker has extended this trial period several times so you can enjoy it for free for a few more months.

Once the trial is over, the streaming service costs $4.99 a month, has some great titles including Ted Lasso, The Morning Show, For All Mankind, and Servent is worth getting a month or two subscription and finishing up some of these shows and movies.

Notably, once you have the Apple TV app installed on your TV or streaming device, you can easily scan a QR code from your iPhone or iPad to sign in without having to go through the hassle of typing your credentials through the remote.
