Apple faces class-action lawsuit

Following increased reports of cracking screens on the new Apple M1 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air, law firm Migliaccio & Rathod has decided to file a class-action suit against Apple. The firm began asking users to fill out a questionnaire to get more information on the matter.

Apple M1 MacBook users have encountered an issue where the screen is cracking for no apparent reason. Victims contact support but end up receiving vague and unsatisfactory responses from Apple representatives. The law firm adds many users claim that they opened their devices from the closed position without excessive pressure, but found cracks in the screen, accompanied by black streaks running across the display.

Be that as it may, users have no choice but to spend over $ 600 to repair their display, with no guarantee that the screen defect won't recur later. - Migliaccio & Rathod

Three years ago, Migliaccio & Rathod looked into filing a lawsuit against Microsoft over a flickering issue with the Surface Pro 4 but later scrapped its plans after Microsoft offered a replacement program.
