Google Maps replacement for Huawei and Honor smartphones has new features

Huawei has begun testing some new features for its Petal Maps mapping service, which has replaced Google Maps on Huawei and Honor smartphones.

Petal Maps update version 1.11.0.210 is available to users around the world to improve various aspects of the Petal Maps navigation system. According to the changelog, the update added navigation for public transport added bus arrival notifications. Added a new switch between satellite view and terrain view (switching between layers may work with a delay in Europe and Russia). In addition, in the latest update to the app, there are options for walking and cycling.

Petal Maps provides a mapping service to suit various travel scenarios. Using Huawei Sitekit map services, route planning, and navigation SDK, Petal Maps allows you to manage navigation, plan routes and monitor traffic conditions according to user requirements.
